– Gary Vaynerchuck is an iconic entrepreneur with much more than business advice. Gary Vee is also known to be straight forward with his advice. Many times he will stress that “You’re going to Die”. He means this not to scare you but to terrify you to the point of action. Complacency and worry can lead to a unfulfilling life. Know that your time on this earth is limited and follow your passion. Don’t rush and the good will follow.
– Third on our list is a brand owned by a 20 y/o girl named Ashley. At the age of 19, she decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship and became highly successful in generated Huge snapchat accounts. She helps businesses and the average snapchat user gain hundreds of follows per day, simply with a few shoutouts! I highly recommend you follow her entertaining and business centered account
– T.j. Hunt, Youtube star, with nearly 600,000 subscribers, and founder of Hunt & Co. is definitely an appealing story to have in your feed. He keeps stories short and sweet while also having fun with his Black Edition GTR, 420 HP BRZ, and a candy red 350z built to drift. – John Lee Dumas, the founder of the extremely successful Podcast, Entrepreneur on Fire, is a must follow for anyone with huge goals. Whenever you find yourself unmotivated, JLD’s story will surely turn your slouch day into a highly productive one!
– Time and time again you will hear about Tai Lopez from me and it’s for a reason. As a successful investor and business owner, he has countless connections to great sources. Disbelievers claim Tai Lopez is a scam but I beg to differ. For starters, if he rented his Aventador, two Rolls Royce, Gallardo, and Maserati every day, don’t you think he would have to have money to do so? Calculate the price to rent one of those for a year then complain. But the truth is, Tai doesn’t offer material attainment. His snapchat isn’t to boast or promise riches. He takes time out of each and every day to coach his viewer. Piece by piece but of course, he’s not going to give everything away for free because people wouldn’t take his advice seriously, the very same reason that I no longer consult for free, although I love teaching people. Time is money and I highly recommend you follow Tai Lopez to help motivate you to tackle all of your fitness and financial goals!
– Sandy is what I like to call more of an underground snapper. Not Viral, but provides wonderful encouragement. Every day, her mission is to meet a new friend, introduce them to her Snapchat Story, and finally to educate them on how to make a positive impact on their lives. She’s also a fitness lover with an entrepreneur spirit.

In a world filled with never ending pessimists, it seems impossible to follow your plans to success without constant discouragement. Every time you get excited about your idea or creation and allow the public to see it, they will mock you. Enjoy the laughs in your face and understand that it is a sign of near breakthroughs and, potentially, a change in your current social class.
Both you and I have goals. Same for the next person but you know what distinguishes our efforts? How we handle those closest to us. People hate change. I mean they dread it! This concept applies to many facets of life but for the purpose of this post, it applies to the social life of young entrepreneurs.
If you have ever begun to talk about accomplishing your goals and dreams around those who love you, you were likely showered with applause and encouragement. What also tends to happen occurs the moment that you begin to take action. For some astronomical reason, many of the people close to will not like it. They realize that you are moving on to bigger and better things, and their fear for your wellbeing settles in.
Many people will be betting on your failure. Assuming the worst outcome for you, many family members result in bashing sprouting entrepreneurs at heart. Others may be jealous that you had the courage to chase your dreams while they continue to lather themselves in soap. These types of people are known as status quo crabs, which leads me to explain what the heck I am talking about.
There is a phenomenon associated with the survival habits of crabs. If you place one crab in a bucket about an arms length or, in this case, claws length, the crab will figure out a way to pinch the buckets rim and escape. You are this crab escaping the standards of society to acquire excellent health, wealth, and happiness.
Now take that same crab, whom we will call Ambition, and throw him back in the bucket. This time, add three more crabs. You will notice that Ambition, knowing it is possible to escape, will again attempt to pull itself out. Instead of successfully avoiding the incarceration of the average, the other crabs with cling onto Ambition’s leg and pull him back into the bucket.
So in life, all will be dandy until the moment you begin to step out of line with average. When you decide to build that hypothetical invention or start a motivational Podcast, people will pick at your efforts and cause you to second guess yourself. DON’T. Whether intentionally or not, they will do everything in their power to keep you on their level. This applies to business, talent expression, relationships and more.
Follow your optimistic intuition and take action. Don’t delay and especially don’t allow others to influence your next move!

If you have tried and failed, you’re on the right path. So many people, young and old, get into business and expect smooth sailing but realistically, the life of an entrepreneur is all but easy. Don’t become blinded by other’s success. Instead, be aware of their underlying efforts. It’s all about what you do behind closed doors. When nobody else is watching. More importantly, when you feel like your working your ass off but still lacking true results.
My first time attempting any form of business was at the age of 16. Nieve, I trusted various internet programs that promised riches. Whether they worked or not is up for debate but every single one I opted into failed to truly educate me on proper business ownership. More times than not, I hadn’t even known what product I was selling. This is known as a common rookie mistake, which happens to be very common among millennials.
Naturally, I gave up. I didn’t get the results and I quit saying, “Its Impossible” and “I’m too Young” when in reality, the only issue that I had didn’t revolve around the size of the paycheck but instead the size of my desire.
Your desire to succeed in life has to be extraordinary. You have to want to win so bad that you will effortlessly go out of your way to becoming great. To become great, failure is simply not an option. Failure should instead be a part of the journey. As long as you expect it to happen, you will be malleable enough to cope and adjust with what is known as adversity.
Entrepreneurs, students or anyone that realizes their dreams rely on their daily actions must take it upon themselves to demand success at all costs. If it takes 2 years of grinding your ass off to make your first dollar, so be it as long as there is much more where that came from.
Bloggers know this feeling. Understanding that in order to build that seven-figure business, they must be willing to blog for the first year practically for free. Some call it voluntary, but I call it an investment. An investment for your future.
So learn to invest in yourself. Take the fall and just trust that it will pay off sooner or later. Success is like a parabola. It may start out incredibly slow but just know, when it catches its second wind of momentum, it’s going to take off!

Surround yourself with who you want to be like. Surround yourself with who you see yourself in. Surround yourself with love. Surround yourself with people who care. Surround yourself with optimism. This is why I surround myself with super successful people and the peers in my close circuit, which are considered family. Family isn’t always blood. I want to be like them, I see myself in them, I love them and we all share a mutual care for each other’s well-being. This what I call the Circle of Optimism.
This isn’t about searching for positivity and seeking people to be like. Heck no. You won’t find the person you want to become in someone else by seeking and interviewing them (sarcastically speaking) No, you have to WORK on YOURSELF first and then you will see in YOU who you are becoming and then the universe will attract like minded people around you naturally and subconsciously speaking.
Once you have worked on yourself and have a great understanding of who you are, then you’ll be able to train your mind to react to certain things in a way in which the general public hasn’t figured out yet. You’ll find yourself less angry, less sad, and more understanding of another people’s point of view. Overall, the more understanding you have about another person’s perspective, the more genuine you become and the more value you bring to someone’s life.
So remember before you can even have a circle of optimism you must bring value to your circle. By bringing value to your circle you will allow people to gravitate and give you that same value. Life is all about value. As humans with different minds, we all value something different. So when you feel like you are on the right path and know the person you wanna become, apply 51% of the value in the relationship whether it’s a friendship or a relationship. By adding value you become a priority. By becoming a priority, people tend to care for you a little more and you become important. When you become important, that’s when you are cared for, and when you are cared for that’s when you have found your circle of optimism.
“Make me better.” That is a phrase that I say to every person I have met every since I changed what I value in my life. It all started with me valuing myself. If you haven’t figured out the common denominator of in this post. Well let me explain, this post is about having great people in your life that inspire you. But in order to be inspired, you need to know where you are going. That is so important for the change in your life. Once you know where you are going you will see and acknowledge the people you meet going in the same direction that you are. If you doubt this philosophy ask yourself, how many people do you meet everyday or better yet how many people do you get a number from and never call, never text, never email? But when you get that person that you know has value and can help you in a way that no amount of money can even compare to. Meaning in a relationship or friendship but in my world a brotherhood, no money can even compare to.
So value a person’s knowledge and ethical values because those things are far more valuable to you than what money can do for you. It’s egregious in my book to think anything other than that. Wisdom is power. Be uncommon.

When you plan to construct a home, you will likely read a blueprint that explains exactly how to bring the idea to life in real time. That is the poor man’s technique. The rich man will not start by reading the blueprint. The rich man will begin by analyzing the desired location. Is it a floodplain. Are there frequent tornados? Does the neighborhood attract burglars? Crime rate? How about the frequency of erosion resulting from Mother Earth’s showers? The rich man and woman are able to identify weak points before fortification.
Take the same concept and apply it to your life right at this very moment. The world is full of rich and poor people. The problem with the world is the poor aspire to be rich but approach said task blindly. Searching for that special formula to success; trying to mirror the actions of a past greatness. What they forget is that, like location, each person is different and withholds their very own set of strengths and weaknesses. In other words, we all have something unique to us known as personality. Each of which requires special attention.
No matter how great an author or mentor, role models will only be able to guide you so far. Education acts as your personal blueprint. In order to successfully build a foundation for greatness, you must understand both the blueprint and the weak points of your own personality.
For example, upon taking several personality tests, like 16 Personalities (which I highly recommend), I discovered that I’m more of an introvert, as opposed to the opposite, being an extrovert. Frankly, I had already figured but more than that, I was reintroduced to one of my underlying weaknesses that I have never been able to avoid. The nature of being Tracey Bernard Mathis forces me to dream big! So big that when I wake up, I have a never ending list of things that need to be done to ensure my success. The issue? No matter how many I tasks are completed, it’s never enough.
Yeah, yeah.. big deal, I’m productive. No. It’s counterproductive because I always feel that there is more to be done. I struggle with giving myself well-earned breaks. The result. I am forced to fight the new battle of anxiety.
No big deal right? Wrong. I love weight training and physical fitness but periodic anxiety and stress make it difficult to eat like a normal human, causing me to suffer in the weight room. Smaller physique…less confidence.
You see what I mean by understanding your personal weaknesses? We all have limits and things to improve on. If we neglect to address them and act appropriately for improvement, we will cause ourselves an unnecessary amount of hurt and pain.
As always, I am going to pose another challenge for you to make an adjustment for the better. Take the short personality test, and study yourself. Learn where you should direct more of your energy and how to avoid future problems. This will provide you with a far more fortified blueprint to wealth, health, and happiness.

As an entrepreneur, you have the sole responsibility of accepting change. You need the ability to flex. Mutate. Sometimes even alter your ego in order to get out of the mind’s complacent state.
According to Gary Vee, an entrepreneur is defined by his actions, not his intentions. If you dream of someday becoming an entrepreneur, simply dreaming does not make you any different than who your currently are. In #AskGaryVee, Vaynerchuk states that if your work a full-time job, you are not an entrepreneur. Point blank. No Argument. Frankly, I feel that although this statement serves true, it is merely circumstantial.
Entrepreneurship should not be defined by your occupation. Not having a full-time job does not make you an entrepreneur either. Working part time does not entitle you to make more money than the next person, but what I feel Gary Vee is trying to say is if you are stuck in the life of working fo someone else full time, you will never become a successful entrepreneur. Do your research and you will find that all entrepreneurs have one thing in common in regards to their journey. They disliked their corporate job so much so that during all of their free time, they began to build. Not envision. You can envision and plan all you want but if you aren’t taking concrete actions, you can’t be labeled as an entrepreneur.
Many entrepreneurs begin as full-time employees who began building onto an idea. Upon doing so, they gave themselves the opportunity to leave their previous work. Not that they became wealthy right out the jump, but that small leap gave them enough space to take a step back and really lay down the foundation for their future.
Think back to the college days. Chances are you weren’t involved with much work. Workstudy doesn’t count. It’s merely a way to get some extra beer money. *Joking* Work study isn’t bad,; it builds responsibility and time management skills…but do you remember those days when you lacked any TRUE responsibilities? All you had to do was wake up and go to class for a few hours then hang out the rest of the day. A corporate job and adult life takes this away from all of us and we lose hope of ever becoming something truly great outside of a boss level manager. This realization is what gives rise to many entrepreneurs.
If you feel constricted by work, consider entrepreneurship. If you really want to make your dreams come true, consider entrepreneurship. It’s easy! *Not Really* But it is! It’s easy to make the decision to set a goal to make your dreams come true but it’s hard to not succumb to the lazy mentality of the middle class. Don’t get me wrong, the hardest workers are middle-class families. On the other hand, the smartest workers are the ones making world class bucks. The entrepreneurs that realize that their boss is not better than them. So why can’t they start something new? Why can’t they invest in stocks while everyone else says they are too risky? Why can’t they leave their “secure” job to build a company from scratch? Why can’t they use their creative mentality to begin designing and consulting privately and make $20,000/month?
They can and they do. Entrepreneurs are born to want more than others and most of the time get what they desire. Sure they fail and may go bankrupt for the first year or two. But look at them four years later and you will be at their feet pleading for answers. Working hard pays off. Working smarter pays on.. and on.. and on.
Next time you see a wealthy entrepreneur, don’t ask for the secret formula, ask how to enjoy the journey during both rain and shine. Ask how to stay motivated when nothing seems to be working. Ask how big of an impact believing in your practice will bring even when you have gone an entire year without profiting. Even better, ask them for their personal opinion on the correlation between a college degree and the person’s level of success. You will find that little to no effect exists, whats so ever.

Imagine waking up tomorrow financially free. The world is your oyster and you literally have relinquished yourself of all financial worries. You no longer rely so tightly on budgeting and now have to opportunity to pull 100% of your focus on building and enjoying your income. Truly envision how different your life would be. Even if you say money doesn’t matter, just imagine the freedom.
It’s mesmerizing, right? When’s the last time you took a minute out of your busy lifestyle to really consider what life would be like? Not necessarily being the richest person on the block but not having to worry about financial responsibility. Many people fake this lifestyle. They pretend everything is great but end up living above their means, causing unnecessary financial stress.
Most people aspire to become wealthy and obtain all the money they could ever desire but truth is, this is the wrong approach. That’s like looking forward to the housing market booming without owning any property. In order to achieve that future goal, don’t skip steps. Figure out how to reach that level of financial freedom first and worry about the rest later.
You may be thinking “this dude is crazy, making more money would solve all of my problems!” Well, your right in a sense but wrong in reality. Robert Kiyosaki, famous investor and author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad”, says that it’s not about of much money you make, it’s about how much money you keep.
Still not registering? Picture you have just founded a new restaurant that’s grossing $500k/ Year. A huge Success right?? Not if that money is going back out the door. Mabey your restaurant is spending $250,000/year on marketing. Still not bad… Until you consider taxes, wages, bills, and of course the physical product. Mabey a decent Lawyer? Top Notch CPA to keep track of the flow of funds? Next thing you know your CPA is informing you that your $500,000 business is only profiting $70,000. Now your a successful entrepreneur making less than middle-class income.
Moral of the story, if you don’t understand where your money is going, you will never find enough to supplement your financial issues. Sure some payments can’t be avoided but whether you admit it or not, you are pouring money into something leading to a big waste.
For example, say your lunch during a work day consists of a BigMac. You tell yourself that work is paying for the lunch so your not really loosing any money. Well, $6.00/day * 5 Day/week = $30/week for lunch.. That’s About $120/month or $1440/year
Maybe to some that doesn’t sound like enough of money to affect your life but what if you did something you’re not programmed to do with that same $120. You decide to invest it into a mutual fund instead of spending $1440, you would have made $300, not to mention living a healthier lifestyle. Sure that’s pennies to the end goal but that’s a simple concept that you should take note of.
Don’t take my word for it, do your own numbers. Hire a CPA and patch the holes in your bank account. If you manage to patch every hole you already begin to see a brighter light in the tunnel of life!
