First off, I’d like to take a moment to wish everyone a wonderful Easter Holiday and Resurrection Sunday! Today is the perfect time to focus on a new beginning, which is exactly why I write today’s post. If you have not done so already, I want you to focus on mapping out your life. Find out where you want to be in 3 years, and capitalize on it!
Before I get into detail, take a moment to reread that last sentence in my blog post’s introduction. I actually want you to expand that to 20 years. Now ask yourself another question.
“What inspires me? What do I want to have accomplished in the next 20 years?”
From the standpoint of the average American, you most likely wish to either achieve financial stability, meet your wildest goals and dreams, or have the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of others. Now that you have an idea, begin listing out exactly what it will take to get to this point in life. This list should include the required changes in mentality, destructive habits, and if you want financial change, a dramatic increase in your income. No matter what you choose, I want you to come to the realization that all of your goals have the potential to be met within the next three years! How? By starting with yourself.
When people go to the gym to lose weight and get fit, the majority that fail to succeed always miss the most important aspect; working on their core! If you have a weak abdomen, you lose out on the benefits of internal health and that obvious “spring break bod” physique. Simply working on the area of your abdomen, and not the entire core, will leave you with abs that do everything except stand out, making the time you spent almost pointless! The same idea applies to building a home, business or family. You must always start out with a strong foundation. Without foundation, like building a house of cards without glue, the entire establishment will eventually fall apart.
Back to reality. If you want to accomplish your goals in the next 3 years, start with a change in your mentality. As discussed in a former post, promising yourself that you will do everything in your power to make the change is the key to going all the way through with that change! Sure there are countless other aspects to achieving success in what you do, but if you start by strengthening yourself internally, you will have the true potential to make anything possible. Like a general in combat, without the brains, there can be no true nor effective operation. These brains or in other words, your mentality, is your foundation! Strengthen it and you will see an entirely different and more energetic side to life, within which you reap all available benefits by unintentionally avoiding procrastination!
If you are having having a wonderful Easter Holiday, please leave a Like and Comment 🙂
